Tanya Lupancu- Running for Arthritis
Story
Hi Friends!
I have started a PhD research project that involves understanding how inflammation begins and progresses in Rheumatoid Arthritis. Many of you know that arthritis is an inflammatory disease that affects the joints and can make movement difficult and painful, but did you know 1 in 6 Australians are affected by a type of arthritis, including children?
Arthritis Australia is a charitable, not-for-profit organisation and the peak arthritis consumer body in Australia, and they do a lot of great work supporting and providing information to people with arthritis, as well as their friends and families.
Next week I will be participating in the 10km run hosted by Medibank Melbourne Marathon. The money raised will go to Arthritis Australia so they can continue helping people manage their arthritis and live full- filling lives. Any donation big or small would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much for your support!
