Story

On the 14th of October, I will be competing in the Melbourne Marathon for 20km for the cause of donating to a charity of my choice. I chose to support Headspace, a foundation that helps those who suffer from mental health issues because its something that has become a massive issue in society and the topic is something I can personally connect to in regards to knowing friends and family who have experienced some form of it. Just need to try and and look at the positives in life and be around those who make you feel happy and welcome, it will always help even if it might seem hard?? I would've liked to compete in the 30km this year for the cause and for my own goals but since I haven't done a lot of training lately and only recently decided to compete, 20km seems like the best way to go. 2019 can be that big year. If you know anyone who currently isn't (or hasn't in the past) been feeling the greatest lately give them a helping hand and make sure that everything is okay, it would help them a lot. I would highly appreciate it if you donate by using the link I've provided and help spread awareness and support about mental health issues!

Feel free to come and support on the day by either spectating or to even come and run along with me on the day.
